Wesley has served as BRAC’s senior vice president of governmental affairs for over three years and will continue to manage BRAC’s advocacy efforts.
As the EVP/COO, Wesley will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization while directing the implementation of BRAC’s five-year strategic plan, The Creative Capital Agenda.

In her governmental affairs role, Wesley continues to lead BRAC’s political advocacy efforts at the state, regional, and local levels. She directs the organization’s lobbying efforts related to the Louisiana Legislature, cultivates strong relationships among top business leaders and public officials throughout the Baton Rouge area, and manages FuturePAC, BRAC’s political action committee.
Wesley previously served as executive counsel for the office of the Lieutenant Governor and is an adjunct professor at the Southern University Law Center. She also worked as the governor’s associate executive counsel during the Blanco administration and as a legislative attorney for the Louisiana State Senate.
Wesley earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Southern University Law Center and a B.S. in business administration at Louisiana State University.
