Christmas season arriving in a big way this week

The Christmas season in Eunice is arriving in a big way this week with the Eunice Kiwanis Christmas Parade, the Christmas Concert at the Liberty Center and a food drive.
The Eunice Food Bank Food Drive.
The food drive is set from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the food bank, 251 W. Park Ave.
Food, toiletries and money donations are accepted for the food bank that serves about 250 families each month.

On Thursday, the Christmas parade will roll at 5 p.m. from West Peach Avenue and 2nd Street to Park Avenue, west to 7th Street and returns east on Park Avenue to City Hall where Santa and Mrs. Claus will await for children.
The parade is followed by the Eunice Community Concert Band & Choir Christmas Concert beginning at 7 p.m. at the Liberty Center.
The concert is scheduled again at 7 p.m. Friday.
Admission to the concert is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
