Blue Jays fall to Trojans

The St. Edmund Blue Jays fell 9-3 to Sacred Heart in Summer League Baseball action Thursday evening at North Park.

Starting pitcher Drew Brown threw three innings and allowed two runs.

Andrew Hunt pitched two innings and allowed one run.

Perry Pitre and Austin Lafleur each pitched an inning, both giving up 3 runs.

Pitre led the Blue Jays at the plate with a 2- for- 3 performance.

Christian Walker went 1-for-2 with double and sacrifice.

Hunt went 1-for-1 with a hit by pitch.

Brown was 2-for-2 with a sacrifice.

The Blue Jays’ final Summer League game is 5:30 Monday at home against Lake Arthur.
