This week’s Student of the Week is Adam Elkins, a seventh-grade student from St. Edmund Junior High School. His parents are David and Vickie Elkins.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? Nova Scotia, because I would like to see where my ancestors originated.

If you could wish for a profession, what would it be and why?

I want to be a doctor so that I can help people.

What is the one food you could eat seven days a week? Rice and gravy.

What is the one food you could never eat? Boiled crawfish, I don’t like to eat anything with its eyes still on.

If there was one thing I could change about the world, it would be to have world peace and bring our soldiers home.

What is your favorite movie and favorite song? My favorite movie is “The Titans.” and my favorite song is “Stronger.”

What was the last book you read? “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.”

Who is the person who has made the most influence on you so far? My nanny, Sally Thibodeaux. She loves me everyday and is proud to be my nanny.

Who would you rather meet: the Pope, the President, Kobe Bryant or Justin Bieber? The Pope.

What is the one thing you would like changed at your school? I would like to be off on Fridays.

What is the one thing you like the most at your school? I love the teachers. They are cool.
