Kirby and Brenda Sonnier of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nikke´ Andre´ Sonnier, to Buck John Langlinais, Jr., son of Buck Sr. and Vickie Langlinais of St. Martinville.

Miss Sonnier is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dot Aymond of Eunice, the late Lannie Aymond of Port Barre and Edmund and Kim Sonnier of Port Barre.

The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School. She is currently attending McNeese State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Mr. Langlinais is the grandson of the late Steve and Velma Champagne, and Sanford and Vianna Langlinais, both of St. Martinville.

The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Martinville High School. He is currently employed as a field supervisor with Protechnics Core Labortories in Scott.

The couple will exchange wedding vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, November 6 at “The House of Broel” in New Orleans.

The couple plan to make their home in Lake Charles.
