Blue Cross official

BATON ROUGE – Services for Blue Cross executive Dorothy Crockett will be Saturday. She died May 13 at age 62.

She worked almost 40 years for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana and was Director of Plan Performance. She was former president of the Exchange Club and the League of Women Voters.

Survivors include her husband Clarence and two children.

Arrangements are by Hall Davis & Son.

Long-time dentist

THIBODAUX – Services for long-time dentist Dr. George Dickie will be Friday. He died May 15 at age 79.

He practiced dentistry in Vacherie for almost 40 years.

Survivors include his wife Rita, three children and a step-child.

Arrangements are by Landry’s.

Ethyl exec

BATON ROUGE – Private services were held for Robert Herzog, former executive vice president and board member of Ethyl Corp. (Albermarle). He died May 6 at age 93.

Ethyl was the only company Herzog ever worked for, joining it as a chemist in 1940.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter.
