The ceremony was held on June 23 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Darryl Hoychick officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Ellen Dunlap of Vick; and the groom is the son of Karl and Jeanne Dischler of Eunice.
Vocalists during the ceremony were Ronnie and Ellen Dunlap, David and Arien Harper, Caleb Dunlap and Samantha Yantis. Connie Beaugh was the pianist, accompanied by Tyler Ellison on viola, Racheal Halbrook on violin, Josh Tannerr on drums, and Luke Laprarie on base.
Ushers were Alex Fruge, Tyler Ellison and Thomas Bonner.
The bride, given away by her parents, was stunning in a pearl white strapless beaded gown. The A-line dress featured an overlay of delicate lace and a chapel-length train.
She complimented her wedding attire with delicate pearl earrings and matching necklace and wore a delicate pearl and rhinestone hair clip.
The bride carried a hand-held bouquet of dark red roses, black stock and pearls.
Serving as maid of honor was Olivia Turner of Hessmar, friend of the bride.
Bridal attendants included Alyssa Smith, Kara Brown, Jenna Fruge, Hailey Guillot, Ashley Dauzat, Carley Barbin and Samantha Yantis.
The attendants wore floor length one-strap over the shoulder chiffon dresses accented with a delicate broach. They carried hand-held bouquets of red and white bridal roses accented with black feathers.
Serving as flower girls were Rylie Hayes and Macie Stout.
Jeremiah Fruge served as ring bearer.
Serving as best man was Kyle Fuselier of Eunice, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were David Dischler, Chris Fruge, Luke Hulsey, Josh Miller, Josh Tanner, Terry Hoychick and Caleb Dunlap.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with a red bow-tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with a red tie.
A reception was held at the Trinity Baptist Church’s social hall.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Alexandria and Shreveport.
The bride is a graduate of Avoyelles Public Charter High School; and the groom is a homeschool graduate.
The couple have made their home in Eunice.
