The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 14 bookings recently in the parish jail.

Arrested were the following:

•Melissa Charlie Richardson, 43, 1021 C.J. Ave., Ville Platte, was charged June 19, with theft, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and forgery. Richardson was being held in jail on a $30,000 bond.

•Ahton F. Campbell, 26, 904 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged June 19, with second degree battery, false imprisonment and simple assault. Campbell was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Lucas John Catoire, 25, 521 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was charged June 20, with distribution of oxycontin. Catoire was released from jail by posting a $20,000 bond.

•Brad Shannon King, 32, 1107 Country Lane, Ville Platte, was charged June 20, with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. King was released from jail by posting a $15,000 bond.

•Miranda Kaye Walters, 29, 1659 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 22, with resisting an officer. Walters was released from jail by posting a $10,000 bond.

•Arthur R. Deville, 52, 1095 Angus Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 22, with issuing worthless checks. Deville was released from jail by posting a $100 bond.

•Joshua Kyle Rider, 21, 180 Rue Richaume Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 22, with aggravated assault. Rider was released from jail by posting a $2,500 bond.

•Ramson Robertson Jr., 209 Ash St., Apt. 309, Mamou, was charged June 22, with theft of a firearm (three counts). Robertson was being held on a $2,500 bond.

•Rochelle Fontenot, 31, 1531 M.L.K. Drive, Ville Platte, was charged June 23, with DWI (first offense) and improper turn. Fontenot was released from jail by posting a $1,276.50 bond.

•Joseph Brandon Manuel, 26, 1037 Acadian Drive, Ville Platte, was charged June 23, with DWI (second offense), improper display of a license plate and possession of schedule III and IV narcotics. Manuel was released from jail by posting a $2,500 bond.

•John Earl Wedlock, 67, 1031 Ainsley Lane, Ville Platte, was charged June 23, with aggravated assault with a firearm (two counts), disturbing the peace and simple battery. Wedlock was released from jail by posting a $7,500 bond.

•Chad Edward Gautreaux, 41, 200 Second St., Pine Prairie, was charged June 24, with careless operation and hit and run. Gautreaux was released from jail by posting a $640 bond.

•Steven Bryant Monier, 43, 1064 Earl Deville Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 25, with second degree battery. Monier was released from jail by posting a $10,000 bond.

•James Leroy Bullock, 43, 1207 S. Berwick St., Basile, was charged June 26, with theft of over $500. Bullock was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.
