The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 15 bookings recently in the parish jail.

Arrested were the following:

•Nolan Scott Fortenberry, 28, 1126 Rock Pit Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with introduction of contraband into a penal facility and malfeasance in office. Fortenberry was released on a $3,000 bond.

•Henry Lee Jones Jr., 38, 110 Railroad St., Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with simple burglary. At press time, Jones remained incarcerated on a $10,000 bond.

•Perry Mayes Jr. (AKA Perry Voris Jr.), 21, 431 N. St. Jones St., Eunice, was charged July 5, with simple burglary. At press time, Mayes remained incarcerated on a $10,000 bond.

•McKenzie M. Thomas, 19, 930 S. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with disturbing the peace by loud music, possession of marijuana and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of marijuana. Thomas was released on a $25,000 bond.

•Alfred Paul Durgin, 31, 111 LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with simple battery. Durgin was released on a $2,000 bond.

•Phyllis Shantell Serie, 32, 1024 E. Main St., Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with armed robbery (two counts). At press time, Serie remained incarcerated on a $110,000 bond.

•Brittany Jacole Fontenot, 23, 820 N.E. Railroad, Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with armed robbery. Fontenot was released on a $55,000 bond.

•Ronald Craig Pete Jr., 25, 820 N. Railroad St., Ville Platte, was charged July 5, with aggravated robbery, armed robbery (three counts) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (three counts). At press time, Pete remained incarcerated on a $225,000 bond.

•Jacob Earl Rider, 31, 1057 Tidwell Lane, Ville Platte, was charged July 6, with simple assault and criminal trespassing. Rider was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Lloyd Rider Jr., 26, 1057 Tidwell Lane, Ville Platte, was charged July 6, with simple assault and criminal trespassing. Rider was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Heath Clifford Brown, 35, 6968 Chataignier Road, Eunice, was charged July 6, with simple assault, trespassing, criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace. At press time, Brown remained incarcerated on a $5,000 bond.

•Marcus Denton Landreneau, 47, 754 Ninth St., Ville Platte, was charged July 7, with DWI (second offense), open container, improper lane use and driving left of center. Landreneau was released on a $1,951.50 bond.

•Johnny Matthew Buxton, 48, 712 Main St., Mamou, was charged July 8, with second-degree battery. Buxton was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Joey Joseph Fontenot, 20, 800 Second St., Mamou, was charged July 9, with simple escape and simple criminal damage to property. At press time, Fontenot remained incarcerated on a $7,500 bond.

•Cleveland Gallow, 33, 300 Jaco Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 9, with introduction of contraband into a penal facility and possession of marijuana. At press time, Gallow remained incarcerated on a $25,000 bond.
