A Celebration of the Life of Jimmy Raymor Guy, who died June 28, 2012 at age 78, will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at his residence. Family and friends will gather.

Survivors includehis wife, Anna Guy of Basile; three daughters, Sherry Bergeron and Michael of Basile, Linda Dugal and Bryan of Lafayette, and Teresa Gonzalez and companion Scott Bownan of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Brandy Pelican, Candice Cooley and Cody, Danielle Leckelt and Gerrick, Amber Fortenberry and Brandon, Brandon James, Garett Dugal, Kaylee Bergeron, and Laura Gonzalez; ten great grandchildren, Hunter Pelican, Madison Pelican, Chloe Cooley, Claire Cooley, Briggs Cooley, Will Leckelt, Gabby Leckelt, Gracie Leckelt, Wyatt LaFleur, and Sophie Fortenberry. He is also survived by five step children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Guy and Bessie McLellan.
