Mamou arrests

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made 11 arrests recently.

The following persons were charged:

•Roberta M. Thomas, 25, 409 Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged July 23, with simple drunk. Thomas was transferred to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Gary Freeman, 25, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged July 24, with simple criminal damage to property. Freeman bonded out of jail July 27.

•Keith Thomas, 20, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged July 24, with simple criminal damage to property. Thomas was released from jail.

•Brogan C. Landreneau, 20, 1014 Cameo Lane, Ville Platte, was charged July 24, with simple battery and resisting an officer. Landreneau bonded out of jail July 25.

•Melissa Wedlock, 46, 1272 Cedar Ridge Road, St. Landry, was charged July 27, with criminal trespass. Wedlock bonded out of jail the same day.

•Destiny Howard, 17, 1272 Cedar Ridge Road, St. Landry, was charged July 27, with criminal trespass. Howard bonded out of jail the same day.

•Caleb Roberts, 20, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged July 27, with simple battery. Roberts bonded out of jail the same day.

•Tabatha O. Soileau, 30, 301 Highway 748, Washington, was charged July 28, with a suspended driver’s license. Soileau bonded out of jail the same day.

•Michael Wedlock, 41, 2145 Washington Lane, Ville Platte, was charged July 28, with filing a false police report. Wedlock bonded out of jail the same day.

•Emerette Hams, 44, 1309 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged July 29, with a suspended driver’s license. Hams bonded out of jail the next day.

•Wesley Logan Bertrand, 17, 504 Chestnut St., Mamou, was charged July 30, with driving without a driver’s license. Bertrand remained in jail at press time.
