The Mamou Junior High Library recently hosted a Christmas Books and Breakfast activity. Prior to the event, parents and students were invited to read the novel, “The Last Holiday Concert” by Andrew Clements. On the day of the event, parents and students enjoyed breakfast and discussions of the novel. There were door prizes and games, as well as, make-and-take activities. Following the activities, parents and students were invited to take Accelerated Reader tests and shop at “the Christmas Store.” Mamou High School would like to thank all parents and students who came out to celebrate the importance of reading.
