Man gets 40 years for child porn possession

NATCHITOCHES – A Natchitoches man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges he received child pornography.

Oscar Stamper, 61, was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Dee Drell in Alexandria.

Stamper also was sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release should he ever be released from prison.
