EUNICE ~ Mary Catherine Reed died on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Oaklane Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 64.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Survivors include her son, John Duplechin and wife, Lisa of Eunice; her two brothers, Phillip Reed of Ville Platte, Ricky Reed of Piqua, Ohio; her three sisters, Sheryl Richardson of Mamou, Angela Mynarzy of Bayou Chicot; and Sheila Ardoin of Ville Platte and two grandchildren, Amber Dupre and husband, Ben of Mamou and Brock Duplechin of Eunice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burkeman and Euna Courville Reed; a son, Jason Duplechin; and a sister, Jerelyn Burge.

Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home on Monday, July 30th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, July 31st from 9:00 am until time of services.
