Pellerin, Lane exchange vows during Double-ring ceremony

St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia was the setting for the double-ring ceremony uniting Lyndsey Elizabeth Pellerin and Jeffery Charles Lane in Holy Matrimony.

The ceremony was held on April 28 with Fr. Eugene Tremie officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Victoria Pellerin of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Charles “Buddy” and Sheila Thibodeaux Lane of Eunice.

Church lectors were Belinda Broussard, aunt of the groom; and Saige Pellerin, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Brock Pellerin, cousin of the bride; and Gib Broussard, uncle of the groom.

The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in a light gold sheath gown. The bodice featured a scooped neckline and sheer beaded triangle cap sleeves. The gown was lined with gold satin and featured a beaded and embroidered tulle overlay with a scalloped hem and chapel length train.

The bride wore a head piece of a single tiered ivory tulle veil embellished by a silver embroidered and beaded design accentuated by a champagne flower with a rhinestone and crystal centerpiece.

She carried a bouquet of a garden cluster of roses in antique shades of beige tied in an ivory ribbon.

Serving as matron of honor was Alexis Viscardi, friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Ashlyn Pellerin, cousin of the bride; Lexie Guilbeau, friend of the bride; Raven Naquin, friend of the bride; and Stacy Pellerin, cousin of the bride.

Serving as flower girls were Carter Albert, cousin of the bride, daughter of Corey Albert and Megan Citrano; and Addyson Pellerin, cousin of the bride, daughter of Brock and Stacy Pellerin.

Ring bearer was Triston Barras, son of Terry and Wendy Barras.

Serving as best man was Alex Gokey, friend of the groom.

Groomsmen included Shannon Romero, Caleb Leger, Joe Thomas, all friends of the groom; and Hunter Pellerin, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the Veterans Memorial Building in New Iberia.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Disney World in Orlando.

They have made their home in New Iberia.

The bride is a graduate of Catholic High School, and LSU of Baton Rouge. She is employed at Quail Tools.

The groom is a graduate of Basile High School and is employed at International Oilfield Services.
