Kyle and Melany Landreneau Vidrine of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amelia Louise Vidrine, to Blake Karrington Smith, son of Eric and Becky Williams Gray of Ferriday and the late Claude Rush of Vidalia.

Miss Vidrine is the granddaughter of Colleen Fraser Landreneau and the late Rodney E. Landreneau, Jr., M.D. and the late Rivers and Mercedes LeDoux Vidrine, all of Eunice.

The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School in Eunice and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. She is currently employed with Painting With A Twist in Lafayette as an art instructor.

Mr. Smith is the grandson of Thomas and Earlene Click Williams and the late Bobby and Carolyn Rush, all of Vidalia.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Vidalia High School in Vidalia. He is currently employed with Noble Drilling (U.S.) LLC as a Subsea Engineer.

The couple will exchange wedding vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, January 28 at St. Thomas Chapel in Eunice.
