This month’s topic is Enthusiasm vs. Apathy. “Expressing joy in each task as I give it my best effort.”

Enthusiasm vs. Apathy
Enthusiasm is when you are excited or inspired by something. You show enthusiasm when you give all your energy to everything you do. It is good to be enthusiastic because you have courage in your work. Once, I was very enthusiastic when I won one hundred tickets at Incredible Pizza! Enthusiasm is a wonderful character trait to have.
Apathy is when you do not care about anything. It also means that you look at the bad side of everything. It is not good to be apathetic because you don’t have confidence in yourself. I was apathetic when my dad told me to clean up in the house. If I had been enthusiastic, it probably would have been more fun.
Apathy is not the best trait to have.

Enthusiasm vs. Apathy
Apathy and enthusiasm are two kinds of feelings people express.
Apathy is an energy taker. You are frowning all the time and have no care of things. When I was a little girl I was apathetic. I had no care for other animals, but as I grew up I found out that apathy is a bad thing. I learned my lesson.
Enthusiasm is an energy giver. You will be happy and smile all the time. You will also see good things and surprises. One day my mom and I were enthusiastic all night long because we were laughing at my Uncle Jack. We were laughing because he kept dancing funny. We took funny pictures of him too.
I choose enthusiasm because I am happy all the time.
