Richard Hensgens of Lake Arthur and Susan Williamson Ray of Jennings are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Alyson Christine Hensgens, to Steven Eric Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Stewart of Rayne.

Miss Hensgens is the granddaughter of the late Doris and Nicholas Hensgens of Crowley and Cora Williamson of Eunice and the late Coolidge Williamson.

The bride-elect is a graduate of McNeese State University.

Mr. Stewart is the grandson of Milton and Freida Stewart of Lake Charles and the late Sylvia and Clevens Belaire of Loreauville.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

The couple will exchange vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 5 at St. Michael of the Archangel Church in Crowley.
