EUNICE ~ Annie Bell Cormier died on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. She was 92.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Survivors include two sons, Linus Cormier and wife, Gerrie of Eunice, Henry Lee Cormier and wife, Gail of Youngsville; three daughters, Lima Jane Kibodeaux of New Iberia, JoAnn Hebert and husband, Lynn of Spring, Texas, Brenda Smith and husband, Carlos of Tee Mamou; two sisters, Adline Babineaux and Wilma LeJeune and husband, Iceal, all of Richard; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Cormier; her parents; Constant and Lucille Fux Matte; her brothers, Austin, Louis and Elzie Matte; her sisters, Christine Opry, Elvina LeJeune; grandson, Brudley Kibodeaux II and a great-grandson, Brandon Harlow.

Visitation will be at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, Aug. 5 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Saturday evening.
