EUNICE ~ Visitation for Charlie Rougeau, Sr., 85,will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Bishop Ceasar Center in Eunice from 7:00 am to 10:45 am with a Rosary being prayed at 10:00 am.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice , with interment following in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery. Father Darren Elridge will officiate at the service.

Rougeau died at 4:50 pm on July 31, 2012 at Eunice Manor.

He was a member of St. Mathilda Catholic Church and a former member of the Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister, and lifetime citizen of Eunice.

Survivors include by two sons, Mr. Charlie Rougeau, Jr. and LeaRetta of Eunice, and Mr. Ray Allen Rougeau, Sr. and Feloman of Washington, LA; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Simpson and Gerald of Lima, Ohio and Ms. Jeanette Freeman; two brothers, Mr. Herbert Rougeau of Houston, Texas, and Mr. Joe Rougeau of Opelousas; one sister, Ms. Bridget Alexander of Houston; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Hewas preceded in death by: his spouse, Mrs. Regina Roe Rougeau; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Artelus Rougeau; a son, Anice (Jin Jin) Rougeau; one brother, Frank Rougeau; and two sisters, Ella Jackson and Stella Jackson.

Pallbearers will be: Darren Rougeau, Charlie Rougeau III, Anice Dupre, Marvin Dupre, Ray Rougeau, Jr., and Andre Rougeau.

Frank Brothers is in charge of arrangements.
