Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bertrand of Branch are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter,Kimberly Ann, to Joseph Paul Artall, son of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffery Artall of Crowley.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lela Briscoe and the late Clarence Briscoe of Branch and Ella Bertrand and the late Heard Bertrand of Westlake.

Kimberly is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School and is currently attending Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge where she is pursuing a degree in nursing. She is currently employed at Lake After Hours in Baton Rouge.

The prospective groom is the grandson of William Hebert and the late Patricia Hebert of Opelousas and Jasper and Carol Artall of Melville.

Joseph is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2006 graduate of Baton Rouge Community College with a degree in Liberal Arts. He is currently attending ITT Technical Institute in Baton Rouge where he will receive a degree in construction management and architectural drafting and design. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. on November 22, 2008 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. A reception honoring the couple will take place immediately after the ceremony at the Rice Festival Civic Building.

Following the ceremony, the couple will reside in Port Allen.
