The ceremony was held on May 21 at 7 p.m. with Father Cedric Sonnier officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Arvin and Sandra Smith of Eunice and the groom is the son of Joseph LeDoux of Richard and Karen LeDoux of Eunice.
Vocalist was Sarah Pulling, accompanied by trumpeter Joseph Stemplewski and pianist Connie Beaugh.
Church lectors were Monica Chamberlin, Brenda Kibodeaux and Joshua Miller.
Gift bearers were Javis and Elaine Noel.
Ushers were Matt Miller of Lafayette and C.J. Briley of Opelousas.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in a Mary’s Fairy Tale Princess collection strapless satin A-line gown. The gown featured a gathered waist band which led to a split front skirt, accented with floral embroidery, beads and sequins. The gown featured a lace-up back and cathedral train.
Her headpiece was a beautiful single band design tiara accented with Austrian crystals and clear crystal beads in a silver plated setting. Attached to her headband was a two-tiered scalloped-edged finger-tip veil accented with clear beading and tear-drop crystals.
The bride carried a hand-held bouquet of pink tinged white roses, lilies, calla lilies and baby’s breath accented with sage. The bouquet contained her paternal grandmother’s rosary and sister’s sapphire ring.
Serving as maid of honor was Francine Ortego, friend of the bride.
Bridal attendants included Monica Lejeune, sister of the bride; Kimberly Smith, sister-in-law of the bride; Jessica Smith, sister-in-law of the bride; Kimberly Oubre, aunt of the groom; Kasey Chaumont, friend of the bride; Nicholette Kinkelaar, friend of the bride; and Emily LeDoux, sister of the groom.
The attendants wore a Mori Lee’s attire collection gown with a scooped, halter neckline accented with soft pleats that met the shirred midriff with a waist sash and flared, tea-length A-line skirt in seafoam. They carried bouquets of pink roses and white calla lilies accented in sage.
Serving as flower girl was Kelsey Lejeune, daughter of Chad and Monica Lejeune.
Serving as ring bearer was Ashton Manuel, son of Jeremy Manuel and Kimberly Oubre.
Serving as best man was Benjamin LeDoux, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen included Chad Lejeune, brother-in-law of the bride; Blake Smith, brother of the bride; Barry Smith, brother of the bride; Jeremy Ortego, friend of the groom; Rhett Manuel, friend of the groom; Caleb Huval, friend of the groom; and Joshua LeDoux, brother of the groom. The men wore traditional black tuxedos with matching seafoam vests and neckties.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the St. Thomas More Social Hall.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The bride is a graduate of Eunice High School and Louisiana State University Eunice.
The groom is a home school graduate, and is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He is employed at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as a research assistant.
The couple has made their home in Eunice.
