A small crowd stood and paid respect as Woodmen of the World Lodges 976 and 243 officials lead the Pledge of Allegiance during Saturday evening’s ceremony honoring heroes and victims of Sept. 11, 2001, as well as past and current police officers, fire fighters, first responders and the military services.
