Memorial Day ceremony set May 27
The VFW Post 8971, American Legion Post 129 and DAV Chapter 19, will have a Memorial Day ceremony at 6 p.m. May 27 at the Rotary Foundation corner at South 2nd and Park Avenue.

Eunice man wanted on murder charges arrested in Shreveport

On Thursday, The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office was notified that Daylon Lewis Rainville and another occupant that was inside the vehicle were stopped in the early morning hours in Shreveport for a traffic stop.
